Children’s Ministries

9 am – Nursery and Preschool
During our Education Hour infants ages 0 - 24 months should be taken to the nursery. Children age 2 years old through Pre-K will have Sunday School in the Preschool classroom.

9 am – Sunday School
During the Education Hour, children ages Kindergarten through Fourth Grades will not only learn about, but experience stories from the Bible in addition to music, crafts and games that apply Bible truths.

Our Preteens (Fifth and Sixth Grades) build relationships with teachers and each other as they discover what God's word says for them at this important development age.

10:30 am – Junior Church
Nursery and Preschool children may remain in their Sunday School class for the 10:30 Worship Hour.   Early Elementary children (Pre-K, K-6th Grade) should join their parents in the Worship Service until they are dismissed for Junior Church.

Child Protection Policy

Our Child Protection Policy is designed to protect our children, teachers and church.  Our policy asks workers to fill out an online application, submit references and give us permission to request a National Criminal Record Check for all children and youth workers. This helps us protect our children from an unknown offender and will also satisfy insurance requirements.

Children’s ministry at Hope Church exists to reach children and help them become:

  1. Powerful in prayer
Every child should be a powerful prayer warrior through regular opportunities of seeing God answer their prayers.

  2. Knowledgeable in God's Word
Every child should be solidly knowledgeable of God's Word though systematic teachings by trained leaders, curriculum, and resources.

  3. Radical in Worship
Every child should intimately worship God through praise and age-appropriate songs.

  4. Mobilized in Service
Every child should be taught their value of service in God's kingdom through opportunities to exercise their talents and abilities to minister to others.

  5. Active in Evangelism
Every child should be willing to be a bold witness for Christ and to allow their life to be used to bring glory to God and salvation to others.

  6. Sacrificial in Giving
Every child should be taught to pray for and sacrificially give to help reach the lost people of the world.
