Enjoy a leisurely morning and join us at 10:30 am for worship.  All children, including babies and preschoolers, will join us for worship.

The Carols of Christmas

“O Come Let Us Adore Him”

Each Sunday in our worship service beginning on December 11, we will sing and celebrate with the music and carols of Christmas.

We will hear familiar songs such as “White Christmas”, “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas”, “Peace on Earth/Little Drummer Boy” and “You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch” (Carol and Candle Light Service).

As we gather each Sunday, we will sing and reflect on wonderful Christmas carols to remind us of the purpose of Jesus coming to earth.

·         On December 11 at 10:30 am, we will look at the beginning of Christmas in John 1.

·         On December 18 at 10:30 am, we will look at Mary’s song of praise for what God was doing through the birth of Jesus.

·         On December 18, at 6:00 pm, we celebrate with our traditional Carols and Candle Light Service. We will sing the wonderful carols of Christmas and boo when the Grinch sings his song, “You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch”. We will close the night with the lighting of our candles and the singing of Silent Night.

·         On Christmas morning at 10:30 am, we will rejoice with the angels at the arrival of Jesus as told to us in Luke 2.

This Christmas, in the midst of all the holiday responsibilities, we want to encourage your celebration of the arrival of Jesus.  Beginning Sunday morning December 18, we will send a text that includes a passage and a link to a Christmas song .

TO RECEIVE THE TEXT: Simply text  - Hope2016 to 313131.

We encourage you to get up a few minutes earlier than usual so you have plenty of time to read each text from the Bible that celebrates the arrival of Jesus the Messiah and listen to the words of the carol.  Take a few minutes to think about who Jesus is, what he has done for us, and how you will live differently that day.
