Hope is a non-denominational church that considers the Word of God our standard for living. Attendance averages 200. Our worship style is a blend of contemporary music and traditional hymns. Hope Church is seeking a male worship leader who:
 

• Is able to lead the church into the Presence of the Lord for meaningful worship.
• Has a shepherd’s heart and strong interpersonal relationship skills.
• Is able to communicate an excellent understanding of scripture through music, prayer, and encouragement.
• Is a skilled musician, preferably accomplished on guitar or keyboard.
• Has leadership and administrative skills that will enable him to lead a team of vocalists and instrumentalists as well as plan worship services and lead rehearsals. 
• Is able to incorporate traditional and contemporary styles of music in the worship service.
• Has a college degree or equivalent experience as a worship leader.

RESPONSIBIILITIES
The worship leader will:
 

• Plan worship services.
  
• Coordinate music and drama ministry.
  
• Oversee technical teams including sound, lighting and projector.
  
• Manage music budget.
  
• Lead a worship service rehearsal at 8:00 a.m. Sunday morning and the worship service at 10:30 a.m.
  
• Direct rehearsals on Wednesday evenings.
  
• Work with a team of vocalists and a team of instrumentalists.
  
• Meet weekly with the pastor for planning.
  
• Attend monthly ministry meeting with church leadership.
