Study of the Gospel of John
Teacher: Bob Widbin Room: Worship Center
This book is simple yet incredibly profound. The writer, the apostle John was one of the closest friends of Jesus during His life on earth. John was the one who seemed to have stayed closest to the Lord. Even at the Last Supper he reclined at Jesus’ side and it was at the foot of the cross on which Jesus hung that John received this charge to care for Jesus’ mother.
Study of 1 Peter
Teacher: Pastor Clint Hamilton Room: Blue Room (201)
We will study how to live in an ever changing world from one of the earliest letters written to believers; I Peter. The apostle Peter, in his letter to the people scattered all throughout the world, referred to them as “God’s elect, strangers in the world…” (1:1). What does it mean for us to be “strangers in the world” and how are we to live responsibly? I invite you to join us as we answer these questions.

Five Love Languages
Teachers: Kevin & Christy Brimm Room: Cranberry (102)
With more than 30 years of experience as a marriage counselor, Dr. Gary Chapman has helped couples at every stage of marriage and at pivotal points in their relationships. Dr. Chapman noticed a pattern: everyone he had ever counseled had a “love language,” a primary way of expressing and interpreting love. He also discovered that, for whatever reason, people are usually drawn to those who speak a different love language than their own.
Of the countless ways we can show love to one another, five key categories, or five love languages, proved to be universal and comprehensive—everyone has a love language, and we all identify primarily with one of the five love languages: Words of Affirmation, Quality Time, Receiving Gifts, Acts of Service, and Physical Touch.

Don’t Waste Your Life by John Piper
Teacher: Brad Murphy Room: Chocolate (106)
Isaiah 26:8 says "Yes, LORD, walking in the way of your laws, we wait for you; your name and renown are the desire of our hearts." John Piper challenges us as Christians to find the "God-centered, Christ-exalting, Bible-saturated passion" of our lives. It's not enough to simply read & understand God's Word. What does it teach us about the choices we make? How does it shape our relationships? We want to discover how can we apply it to our lives daily.
